Strange Fortune's guide for artists & labels Strange Fortune since 1999 is a key source for the underground post-industrial music scene in North America. Strange Fortune handles the exclusive promotion & distribution in North America for artists such as Sol Invictus, Tor Lundvall, and Sally Doherty, as well as for labels such as Cynfeirdd France and Ark Records Italy. Strange Fortune carries over 1000 titles for mail order & distribution. Strange Fortune customers are intense music fans and collectors, and often contribute reviews of the albums. If you're an artist or label and you want to get into the Strange Fortune catalogue, read on. Not accepting demos Strange Fortune isn't currently listening to unreleased "demo" recordings sorry. (We have an in house record label but aren't looking for new artists at this time.) Accepting promos Strange Fortune always accepts promos of finished music releases, to consider for distribution. If you have an album in CD or vinyl format, and you believe it might fit with the Strange Fortune catalogue, then we may be interested to carry it here. How to submit your promos 1. Make sure it's a manufactured CD or vinyl release. No homemade CDR's or MP3's please. (Ideally it should be a real sample of the product, not a stripped down promo version. We will want to be able to listen to the album in full as well as see the actual physical product.) 2.
