Strange Fortune accepts the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB. There's no surcharge for credit card payment.
As a convenience we also accept Paypal directed to for those who prefer this method.
A check or money order in US dollars is an option as well.
Shipping
Shipping for one item in the US is $3. Each additional is 0.50, and the maximum is $7 per shipment. Standard shipping is USPS or UPS ground.
International orders ship by air mail. To Canada, one item is $5 and each additional is 0.50. To Europe and Latin America, one item is $7 and each additional is 1.00. To Asia, Australia and the rest of the world, one item is $9 and each additional is 1.00.
International orders for vinyl and heavy items may have additional shipping charges.
Tax
No tax except 5% sales tax in Massachusetts.
Time
In stock orders normally process & ship within 3 business days, and average shipping time in the US is around a week. You can expect to have your order within 1-2 weeks from payment.
International orders typically take around two weeks shipping time, however this varies and can take as long as a month.
Orders with out of stock items ship soon as items are available. Restocks add a couple extra weeks wait time (which can be avoided by sending us a list of potential alternates in case your first choices are out of stock).
Stock
All items in the catalogue are either in stock, or expected shortly. To check current stock availability, just click on the title. This will usually be up to date. If you want to double check on availability, you can send us an email with the title or list of titles.
Condition
All items at Strange Fortune are new & mint condition except vinyl which may be less than mint due to the nature of the format. Items may or may not come shrinkwrapped, imports usually will not.
Strange Fortune follows best practices in storage and shipment of vinyl, to ensure your records get to you in top condition.
Guarantee
Strange Fortune offers a satisfaction guarantee. Orders can be changed or canceled any time before shipment by request. After shipment, returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in same condition.
